Welcome to the NRTA
New River Teaching Alliance
Adding Value to Your Professional Development
The New River Teaching Alliance (NRTA), with Alexandra Park School as the lead partner school, was accredited by the Department for Education (DfE) in March 2013. This was in recognition of our outstanding results and strong track record of training our staff. The NRTA continues this commitment across a partnership of North London schools. We deliver a comprehensive and bespoke training experience, from recruiting and developing the next generation of teachers, to training and preparing experienced staff to meet the challenges of school leadership. We are all at different stages in our journey in education. Whatever your stage, the NRTA works to add value to your professional development. We look forward to engaging with you.

Testimonials
“I will always be grateful for the attention to detail and the care I was given by the NRTA throughout every stage of the process - from the first recruitment fair I went to, to supporting me in landing my first qualified post. I remember thinking at the interview how at ease they made me feel and how they compounded every aspiration I ever had to become a teacher.”
“The training and organisation of the course was great! My advice would be to get involved in all aspects of school life – not just in your department.”
“It is scary, but you get lots of support. Plus, it’s really nice working with people who have recently trained – as they can give you great advice.”
